Dr. Andre Ledoux is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon that practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Andre C. Ledoux treats a wide variety of problems related to the teeth, mouth, and facial regions with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal, dental implant surgery to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. He also diagnoses and treats facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.
Dr. Ledoux is a native of South Louisiana, but has considered Florida his home for over half his life. Dr. Ledoux started his medical career as a Hospital Corpsman (medic) and Surgical Technologist in the United States Navy
Dr. Ledoux earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University with honors, also serving as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve during that period. He returned to active-duty service in 2010 and completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Womack Army Medical Center. Dr. Ledoux then completed two years of subspecialty fellowship certificates in Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at Jackson Health System Miami, FL.
He studied under the highly respected Dr. Robert Marx and Dr. Ramzey Tursun. Since that time Dr. Ledoux has been in both hospital-based and outpatient facilities. Dr. Ledoux takes a special interest in facial trauma, pathology, and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Ledoux obtained the prestigious status of a diplomat on the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2017 and is committed to lifelong learning, keeping current in knowledge and skills, and practicing in a safe and contemporary manner.
He has presented locally, nationally, and his research has been published in the Journal of the American Dental Association and the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
During his free time, Dr. Ledoux enjoys hunting birds, backcountry fishing, bicycling, and spending time with his family.
